Appalling

According to CNN, the judge in the Rittenhouse case is ruling the people shot by Rittenhouse (the shitbird kid who showed up to BLM armed) can't be called victims, but can be called looters and rioters. Talk about cooking the books. We can't call them the one thing we know they are, victims, but we can convict them of being looters and rioters even though we don't know that to be true.

Nice to see justice working as intended.

In other news, MTG is at least being honest and admitting the 1/6 coup was in fact a coup attempt (though she doesn't say those exact words). She's saying it as a defense of the traitors, but she's at least being honest.

Should legally entered non-citizens have the right to vote?

NYC is joining a number of other municipalities and allowing non-citizens in the US legally to vote in local elections. What are people's thoughts on this? On the one hand, citizens have a significant stake in the outcome of elections, and allowing non-citizens to vote dilutes their voice. On the other, people here legally are governed by the laws and politicians just as much as citizens and should be allowed to have a say - especially if they are long-term residents.

Should they be allowed to vote in local elections? Prevented? Allowed with temporal conditions?

Who is it

That leads the Rock Chalk Chant? Is it the Male cheerleaders??? Whomever it is this year sounds like a sick coyote. Go back and listen to the end of the UTEP game. It's horrible and embarrassing. Somebody needs to take the megaphone from him and give it to somebody else. I'm hoping for better Saturday when we win.... P-L-E-A-S-E!!
