21/22 bowl games - reworked matchups and cancellations (12/28 4:39 update)

***Please keep your political and personal thoughts about COVID out of here. If you want to do that, here is the COVID thread and the political forum.***

They keep piling up and it will be interesting to see how the bowl games handle all of these cancellations this year. I suspect the timing will not appropriately allow many teams to reschedule these bowl games like the BYU @ Coastal Carolina game last season.

Of the 44 scheduled bowl games, 18 have been played, 2 had a switching up of teams, and 5 are officially cancelled. Below are the affected bowl games. At the current rate, I may be updating this list more than once this week.
  • Gator Bowl: Texas A&M / Rutgers vs Wake Forest (scheduled for Friday, Dec 31 at 11:00 am on ESPN)
  • Hawaii Bowl: Hawaii vs Memphis
  • Fenway Bowl: Virginia vs SMU
  • Military Bowl: Boston College vs East Carolina
  • Sun Bowl: Miami Central Michigan vs Washington State (scheduled for Friday, Dec 31 at 2:00 pm on ESPN)
  • Arizona Bowl: Boise State vs Central Michigan (scheduled for Friday, Dec 31 at 2:00 pm on CBS)
  • Holiday Bowl: UCLA vs North Carolina State

Police kill innocent girl when they open fire in a crowded store

Now in the police's defense, they heard shots had been fired and that there were victims so they undoubtedly had a heightened sense of excitement, but the fact the police opened fire on a person that to date has not been shown to have a gun (he had a bike lock that the chief tried to describe as "very heavy") in a crowded store is inexcusable.

We don't know everything yet, but there are a few possibilities:

1. They showed up, saw the suspect, and opened fire.
2. He went after them with his bike lock so they responded by opening fire.
3. The suspect had a gun, but for some reason it hasn't been found yet. (And there are no reports of him shooting at police.)

In none of those situations are the police justified in my opinion in opening fire in a crowded store. Police, yet again, are too quick to resort to violence.

I know we had a thread where we're tabulating some of these stories, but I didn't want to do the search.

A tragic situation for the girl's family.

Tickets???

I moved back a couple months ago to kc from Phoenix after being there for a few years. Before Phoenix, I had season tickets so I haven’t bought one off games in a long time. Where is the best place to buy? I looked at Ticketmaster and there are 3 sets on there. Assumed tonight’s game wouldn’t be a tough ticket to get being that it’s winter break. Any suggestions? With it being a weekday and coming off Christmas, was mainly looking to see if there were any deals for some decently nice seats.

Red Light Therapy

Has anyone used this type of therapy before? Curious to your thoughts. My mom always buys us some random present like this that we normally would never spend money on ourselves but may be beneficial to us. Curious to hear opinions or thoughts on this type of therapy/product.

This is the one I received. Looks to be a fairly good reviewed one based on this I could find on the internet that didn't seem geared towards the company paying for the review.
