SCOTUS blocks Biden's vaccine mandate

Unsurprisingly it was split along conservative/liberal lines. The path the SCOTUS is taking is incredibly troubling because they want Congress to specifically spell out exactly what is covered. This has almost never been required as Congress cedes power to Agencies/Executive to implement plans based on their expertise. For instance: implement rules that improve workplace safety following these guidelines: x, y, z. What SCOTUS is now saying, in essence, is that Congress has to specifically spell out those rules and if Congress errs, the Agency has to wait for Congress to completely rewrite and pass new legislation. In other words: it's a backdoor way to destroy regulations in this country.

Being a sports fan.....

can be exhausting.
After yesterday's comeback win for the basketball team, the Bengals getting rid of the Titans, the Rams nearly having the collapse of a lifetime and then winning late to put out the Bucs, and then this Chiefs game, it was a great weekend, but I don't know if I can put up with that type of suspense so many times in one weekend again.
I've honestly never had one set up like this where I was happy with nearly every outcome whether it was my favorite teams like KU and the Chiefs or just cheering against the Titans and Buccaneers.
What a crazy weekend!

Power Rankings

5. Kansas Jayhawks (16-2)
Previous ranking:
6
This week: vs. Texas Tech (Monday), vs. Kentucky (Saturday)

Kansas just keeps continuing to find a way to win games, staying in the mix for a potential 1-seed in March. The Jayhawks had a couple of three-point road wins this past week, pulling out wins in the final minute against both Oklahoma and Kansas State. It's clear they're not playing their best basketball right now, with Remy Martin's injury a key factor, but the fact that they keep winning games is a good sign. The offense has been fine, scoring at least 1.07 points per possession in each of the last three games, but Kansas also allowed 139 points on 129 possessions in its two wins last week. The Jayhawks have allowed more than one point per possession just five times all season, and two of those instances happened last week. They're about to start a brutal stretch: vs. Texas Tech, vs. Kentucky, at Iowa State, vs. Baylor, at Texas.

Letting 3K ride on the Chiefs

Was down over 10K and made a big come back- up about 3 large and I am thinking about putting it all on KC. 4 of 5 analyst pick the Bills I call bullshit on all this Buffalo hype

Bills lost to Jacksonville, scored 10 pts vs New England- got killed by the Colts beat the Falcons and Jets to end the season who suck. KC is a hotter team at home- I got an hour to think about it. Anybody talking me out of it?

Is Bobby going to medical redshirt?

Wondering if they decided to save his year by letting him qualify for a medical redshirt? As long as he plays less than 30% of the season and all of the games he appeared in are in the first half of the season then he will qualify.

Since he was in street clothes yesterday the thought has crossed my mind. At this point I think it would make sense and the fact that he at least played a handful of games gives him a taste of college basketball while not using up any eligibility..
