Big 12 Champs!

Gotta give this team some props. Won a tough league race, battled lots of unfortunate injuries, had to play 4 games in 8 days down the stretch all against tournament teams while your best player is gassed and in a mini slump! Not to mention your best big man has played on a bad wheel..

We might have our weaknesses, and not be a very athletic team but we have shown some toughness and hopefully have regained some momentum while lifting a little weight off our shoulders now that we can claim a league championship! Hopefully they just go have fun in the post season, win a few games and let's see what happens? Proud of the team for fighting so hard these past two games with all the pressure on them and likely being worn out! They deserve it!

Rock Chalk Jayhawk!

As the world looks on-

For years Putin said he was going to reunite the old Russian empire. The U.S. along with all of European countries, NATO, and non NATO countries, trading partners, oil companies etc etc knew this. So why in the hell did we and our allies wait until men, women, and children were being slaughtered. We shouldn't lame this on the right or left sides of our politics. Both parties have been in power and held Congress since Putin declared his initiative. What we are doing now could have been done shortly after Putin's plan was announced Is the world going to watch China take back Taiwan? Sure-the world keeps on doing the same thing over and over.

The next 5 years could really impact what we know college FB to be. We all know this to be true. Here are two of the better conversations I’ve heard with some good insights and I thought all of us CFB knuckleheads might eat up!
(I don’t have time at the moment to share my thoughts beyond sharing this.)
The time stamps are below in case you have a particular conversation you want to hear and not the whole thing.

I wish

I love the fact that we toughed it out and won another big 12 championship. Testament to the grit of this team and our coach. We have some warriors.

That said, I feel like we are either a three point shooting team or a pound it into the post team. Wish we had players who were comfortable shooting mid range jumpers. Seems like a lot of those are open and we refuse to shoot them.
