News and Notes Updates from Lance Leipold - Iowa State week

Kept bye week the same with small adjustments.

On having an off day on Monday he liked that and they practiced on Sunday night. He said over time they've had good practices in the evening.

On putting the KSU game behind them he said he is proud of them. They know margin of losing is small and winning football not far away.

Winning off bye weeks three straight Leipold said the routine and focus and being fresh.

Campbell done an amazing job building the program sustaining and then had a down year and then he got them back up. Testament to him and his staff.

Iowa State makes it tough to run the ball and will present challenges with as many as four TE. He doesn't want to label Rocco Becht as a game manager because that takes away from his talent.

Said he if he had to put out injuries and was mandated to do it he would. But he doesn't know the exact reason it needs to be done. Mentioned is it for the gamblers.

Remembered Devin Neal how much he wanted to learn and took the time to learn and get better.

Member suggestion thread - specific players the staff should look into if they go portal

Local connection.

Past connection to a coach.

Established player at a smaller school.

Potential value due to merely being behind other very good players so far in their careers.

Who have you run across you think warrants discussion, or that you think the staff should keep an eye on? What connections have you put together that make you think a particular guy could or should be a Jayhawk in 2025?

Walls closing in on the criminal Moron-in-Chief Biden

Let's face facts here. The evidence on Hunter and Moron Joe is overwhelming, and if we had a DOJ, FBI and media who weren't 100% corrupt and protective of today's sick Democrat party these two criminals would be behind bars by now.
Enter an actual honest FBI whistleblower and things are developing to where justice may actually be served....... unless the brave whistleblower isn't murdered first by criminals Bill and Hillary Clinton or Obama.

Let's face some more facts. Today's sick Democrat party and most Stupid Biden Voters don't want the imbecile to run again. So, a good way to remove Moron Joe from the picture is to let this criminal
investigation play out which will no doubt lead to the moron's impeachment.

As I keep saying-- the level of corruption in today's sick Democrat party and the Biden Crime Family is unimaginable. You CANNOT be honest and be a Democrat politician in government these days.

Dear simpletons, This is your Democrat party...

Dear simpletons,

This is your Democrat party in D.C.

As you know, our courtship of you which occurs every election cycle will end on November 5th. Remember that you won't be seeing us doing anything positive for you for the next three years, but we just wanted to let you know that we appreciate your votes very much.

We don't care about you little morons one little bit, but we absolutely DO care about your votes. Until we meet-up again we will probably raise the taxes on the few of you who actually work, give your jobs to the millions of illegals whom we imported, burn down your neighborhoods, murder, rape and loot by our Democrat street animals whom we refuse to prosecute. You’ll also continue to suffer with the record inflation that we caused, but keep voting Democrat, okay?

And don't forget that our worthless Democrat politicians that you simpletons elected will be working against America and against Israel, but they'll be working tirelessly for themselves! Again, we really appreciate your votes even for the bottom-of-the-barrel Democrat candidates we nominated such as Moron Joe and the Cackling Idiot. Oh, and we want to send out a special thanks to you Democrat millionaires who stupidly financed the campaigns of our laughing stock candidates. To show our great appreciation each one of you big donors will be receiving a "Gold Star Stupid Award" for throwing your millions away.
Look for those coveted awards in your mailboxes!

Now, it is a bit concerning to us that more and more of you simpletons are leaving the Democrat party, which is why we orchestrated our disaterous open borders policy. We really had no other choice since we need a certain number of stupid voters or else our America-Last Democrat party is no more. We cannot have that, now can we?

Always know that stupid people like you are never wanted in the Republican party, but stupid people always have a permanent home in the Democrat party.

That's it for now. Don't forget to keep watching our Democrat Propaganda Networks to stay current on what to believe and who to hate, and we'll see you all in three years!

Sieg Heil to the Democrat party!

Big XII made a huge mistake not grabbing SMU, particularly instead of Houston

I get Houston is a massive market but the school sucks and now SMU has the inside lane to the ACC Championship.
Dallas is massive Big XII town, the most important city in the Big XII region by far and to let a rich ass school like SMU pay their way into the ACC instead of the Big XII was a massive mistake.

The Big XII should already regret this mistake but it will look far worse in the future.

Arkansas TCU

Watched Arkansas TCU on Friday. Not a lot to take away (TCU won on a late 3 pointer), but some thoughts:
  • Udeh looked pretty good and was leading scorer for TCU. Didn’t’ seem like was utilized a lot, but had 4 lob dunks and a nice post move.
  • Both teams ran offensive sets and TCU was just a little more efficient throughout despite being down most of the game.
  • TCU didn’t really do a lot to scare me otherwise. Didn’t seem to have elite shooting/athleticism. 8-25 from three and not great at finishing at basket.
  • Some interesting transfer guards for TCU…Frankie Collins averaged 13 ppg at Arizona State last year, Noah Reynolds 20 ppg at Green Bay and V. Allette 17 ppg as a freshmen at Old Dominion. Once they gel, I’m guessing guard play will be better than I saw.
  • Arkansas took a lot of the hero shots we saw them hit against KU and subsequently missed most of. Fland looked mortal, hitting 4-9 shots and committing 3 TOs, but did have a couple of highlight moves.
  • Ivisic struggled (2-8 from the field, 5 points). He wasn’t getting the calls and latitude he did against KU and was getting frustrated.
  • Arkansas did look more impressive physically/athletically.
  • About a 90/10 split for Arkansas fans despite being in Fort Worth
All in all, made me feel better about KU’s exhibition game against Arkansas. TCU just approached it like a normal game, ran sets and tried to get their newcomers acclimated and Arkansas looked mortal (I’m honestly not sure what KU was trying to do last week, feels like it was just Self trying to do Cal a solid as a he starts a new gig). Even with some talented newcomers, TCU doesn’t seem as good as the teams that’s given KU issues the past 3 or so years and I think KU matches up well with this year.
