He made a lot of great plays throughout the game. Perhaps one of the biggest, yet overlooked, was his 3rd & long scramble for a first down on the very first series to avoid starting with a 3 & out.
We all know how important it is for this young KU team to start well, and this made sure KU maintained their drive.
I think JD has that “It” factor, and knows how to do the critical things to maintain drives and put the ball in the end zone.
