Passed the great James Sims for 3rd place on the all time school rushing list. 180 yards from 1st place. He deserves so much more from his coaches in what should be a season that gets him the national attention he deserves. I hope the chiefs get him, he'd be perfect for us.

Are any position groups playing above their physical abilities?

On defense the interior DL seems closest to playing above their ability. The db’s and lb’s are getting toasted weekly defending both the run and the pass. I’d comment on our pass rush but it doesn’t exist.

On offense the OL has taken a large step back both pass and run blocking. The wr’s have more drops and worse blocks. Obviously qb is worse.
We might as well not play TE’s we don’t throw to them.

Coach AK obviously was excellent at getting the max out of the offense. He made all the offensive position groups look better. Losing coach Fuchs has obviously hurt the OL tremendously.

Our DC seems to play “not to lose”. He hates blitz’s , stunts, etc like the plague and our DE’s can’t get pressure on passers. Coach Spagnola in KC is big on getting pressure on the qb any way you can as often as you can but what does he know he’s only won 4 Super Bowls!

I see Lance is pulling out the Bruce Weber victim card after the loss yesterday.

Lance can cut the officiating talk and throwing blame on them. We were not the better team yesterday. That starts from Lance and down the line. We were out coached and played in every area.

He needs to be told he can retire with dignity at the end of the year or just get fired

313 yards rushing averaging 7 yards a carry. And yes included in that total are QB runs. That is the biggest factor to me in this game. Not Grimes, not JD. They didn’t do everything perfect but a lot more right than wrong.
