Surprised nobody has made a thread for him. This kid gives KU something that KU has never really had playing the 5. He is pure as a shooter. Even his misses look good. Thought he played pretty well defensively as well. Obviously has to get stronger but if we need to pull a shot blocker away from the hoop I would not hesitate to play that young man. 11 and 6 in 12 minutes.

I've never done it, and know zip about it. What would be the best way to learn about it, and what is the easiest way to begin? Really for me, its relative to college football and possibly basketball. TIA, and RC!

So, didn't realize this about Elijah Olaniyi last night (maybe announcers talked about it, but don't remember it being mentioned)

- Played first 3 years at Stony Brook
- 18 ppg and first team all conference his junior year
- Declared for draft after that
- Withdrew, then transferred to Miami
- Averaged 10 ppg for Miami last year
- Transferred back to Stony Brook for super season

Not sure I've seen the 2nd stint at a school thing yet with all this.

It appears this is going to be a big year for coaching changes at the FBS level. There is already talk about Riley and Kiffin being targets, MSU just inked Tucker to a big deal to keep him in place. Many of these changes will create a chain reaction as a school making a change will steal a HC from another school creating another opening.

We made a great move getting Leipold before this year.

I really wonder how much opportunity we will have to get some good players with all the fallout from these coaching changes.

How many players will hit the portal when their coaches are pushed out?

How many recruits will find themselves looking for a new home late in the game?

Can we finish the season strong and create a positive perception for incoming targets?

This offseason is so incredibly critical. Player development, player retention, player additions.

December and January are going to get crazy.

Anyone else a little surprised that EJ hasn't been more successful recruiting for 2022? We have 5 kids committed. Like what happened? He was a star recruiter everywhere he's been, including the last two years here at KU under Miles. I really hope he isn't feeling a little slighted by KU deciding to go another direction at HC. Not accusing him of sabotage or anything like that. Just hope he isn't feeling underappreciated. Our WR have performed fantastically this year! His leadership is of tremendous value. I just have to wonder how the recruiting trail went so cold for him.

Any ideas?

On a related note, with so much movement in coaching staffs within the Big 12, I worry we could lose coach Jones. Any school in Texas would LOVE to have him. Tech would take him back in a second.

Nadame Tucker and Deshon Singleton just told me tonight they are getting with Borland to set their visits.

It looks like it will be for West Virginia game. There was some talk about they might do it the 10th but looks like the final home game.

Singleton is a 4x3 and full qualifier.
