Fan Controlled Football Season V2.0 Is Near!!

The FCF is back in a big way with 4 new teams, bringing the league to 8 teams. The league will start April 16th in Atlanta and will be televised on Peacock, NBCLX, Twitch and internationally on DAZN. The FCF just closed a funding round and raised 40 million. The league is now guaranteed to have a season 2 and 3.

For those unfamiliar with the league, the Fan Controlled Football league is an indoor football league in Atlanta where fans decide nearly everything. Fans choose team names, logos, jerseys, rules, etc. Fans draft players to their teams every week. Fans can tag a limited number of players as Franchise Players. Fans call all of the offensive plays for their teams. When you call successful plays you earn FANIQ which gives your votes more power. You can also earn FANIQ through votes on the app and website. The playoffs culminate in The People's Championship game.

Team branding votes are supposed to be taking place in late January

The original 4 teams from Season V1.0 are back of course. The teams are The Glacier Boyz (owned by Quavo,Richard Sherman,Deestroying), The Zappers (owned by Bob Menery, Trevor May), the wild aces (owned by Austin Ekeler and methzoo trash greg miller) and The Beasts (owned by Marshawn Lynch, pro wrestler Miro, and Renee Montgomery). Your boy finished the season 5th in FanIQ for The Beasts last season.

o

the new owners are Bored Ape Yacht Club, Gutter Cats, Knights of Degen, and 8OKI. The four new teams are part of the new FCF Ballerz Collective. These teams will be NFT based and the original four teams will still be free teams. I don't really know shit about NFTs but there's a link below that explains it better.

Jordan Peterson started recruiting him in December and they set the visit for this weekend. Lewis may not end up at Texas and it is also believed TCU will be a major player for him.

KU will get their shot this weekend and the word is he will visit TCU next weekend.

Team Chemistry

There was obviously great chemistry amongst the starting 5 today. I wonder what will happen when Remy comes back? Will he replace Harris in the starting line-up? I somehow just don't see Coach relegating Harris to the bench. Do we play two smalls and take Wilson back out of the starting line-up? I think Wilson plays better as a starter. Will we bring Remy off the bench? Maybe at first, but I can't see a healthy Remy not on the court at the start of the game.
.
Of course, Remy has to come back first. He may work his way into the line-up gradually. But it's going to be interesting to see how it all shakes up as we move into the crucial time of the year.

Streaming TV Service Help

What do you guys think is the best TV streaming service? I have Google Fiber now, but they're finally getting rid of their TV product. I'm not price sensitive at all; really want the most channels possible (I don't care about movie channels because I can get them direct if I want them) and be able to stream at least 4 TV at the same time. Want to make sure I can get the Bally Sports KC (old regional Fox). Anyone have the Fubo TV? That looks decent and I like that they have some 4K broadcasts. Any service that people really like?

Breaking News Some news from the weekend of official visits

Lonnie Phelps father, Lonnie, told me he is a Jayhawk and the plan is to return to Lawrence on Monday.

They are boarding a plane and heading home right now.

"We liked the coaching staff as a whole and how close they are," Phelps said. "We saw how they plan to use Lonnie and I believe in the turnaround of the program."

Agbaji Named Big 12 Player of the Week

IRVING, Texas – Kansas senior Ochai Agbaji has been named the Big 12 Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. This is the second time Agbaji has won the award this season and third time he has received a conference weekly honor in his career.

Last week, Agbaji posted back-to-back 20-point games in two Kansas Big 12 victories with 22 points versus No. 15 Iowa State and 20 against West Virginia. The Kansas City, Missouri, guard made four three-pointers in each game and shot 50 percent from beyond the arc. Agbaji has made four or more threes seven times this season and has made 14 from beyond the arc in his last three outings. Agbaji tied his season high in rebounds with seven in both contests. He has pulled down seven rebounds in five games this season.

Recently named to the Wooden Award Mid-Season Watch List, Agbaji leads the Big 12 and is 13th nationally in scoring at 20.6 points per game. He also leads the conference in three-point field goals made at 3.2 per game, which is 17th nationally, and three-point field goal percentage at 47.7 percent, eighth nationally.

No. 7 Kansas (14-2, 3-1) will play at Oklahoma (12-5, 2-3) on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 6 p.m. (CT)on ESPN.

First Edition: 2022 Roster Breakdown - Pre Portal Exodus & Signing Day Edition, s*ck it Jolebo

I'm going to do this 2 ways. First with no covid exception, then with 2020 not impacting any eligibility.

If their name is bold, that means they are still eligible to redshirt.
If their name is blue, that means they are a walk-on.
If their name is red then that means they ARE NOT eligible for a covid year.

81 Scholarship.
We can add as many as 8 more, but we'd need at least four more scholarship guys to leave in order to do so.
We can still bring 1 more player in at semester, but we're basically out of time for that.

Gilyard and Phelps (what no one is talking about)

Nevermind the skill, speed and experience. These two bring much more to the table. They are both intelligent, have good instincts and above all will be team leaders. Not to say we desperately need leadership, but you can always use more team leaders.

I'm real excited about all of our transfers, but these two in particular bring an awful to the program.

All time wins race

Kentucky: 2338
Kansas: 2335

Kentucky schedule:
vs Georgia
@ Vanderbilt
vs Tennessee
@ Texas A&M
@ Auburn
vs Mississippi State
@ Kansas

Kansas schedule:
@ Texas Tech
vs Iowa State
vs West Virginia
@ Oklahoma
@ Kansas State
vs Texas Tech
vs Kentucky

Going to need to win out and have Kentucky drop a couple, but we could potentially tie or take the lead when we play Kentucky January 29th.
