Why does he not coach 2nd half tonight?

For some time, I've tried to imagine what our stadium would need in order to say in the classiest and most effective way, " this is who we have always been, or hope to be" from a football tradition perspective.

So I'm curious- In the minds of my fellow Slanters: what designs, architectural elements, details, symbols, and structures should be in place in the new stadium (and the immediate surrounding area) in order to say "this is Kansas football"?
Strictly aesthetics.

Jack Gogue, from Richmond, MO is listed at 6-8 270 pounds. In his junior year highlights, he appears to move really well for a guy his size. He also appears to be somebody who could get a lot bigger and stronger.
Is he somebody who could play at the FBS level? I'm just curious to get your thoughts along with other posters.

Didn't hear it all but went from up 26 to finish up 14.

On what do you hope you learn from it

I just think that the health of Remy and him hopefully somehow being a 6th man for us and Zach giving us another 6'10" mobile big are the keys to us being our best cone March. I think Zach looks like he's heading in the right direction in mid February heading into March and if Remy can actually return in time to get a few games under his belt and be our 6th man going into March then I think this team has a legit chance to make an EE run and maybe with some luck make some noise?. Those two things have to go our way down the stretch though in my opinion. I like what I'm starting to see from the 5 starters but we need those two above all else in my opinion to support our starters. If not Remy then hope like heck Joe blows up in March again to fill that void.

Just the thoughts after the last two games but we'll see how it goes? Zach would have to continue to get minutes over Mitch for this to have a chance to even be possible do who knows?

I like him a lot and have said that on the board.

Interesting article on the CBS Sports site about how the players in the Super Bowl were ranked out of high school. 14 players had 0 stars. Top performer is Cooper Kupp. He led the NFL in total catches, yds recieving and TD's. Only 3 other receivers have ever done that. There are those on the Slant who think we do not have good enough receivers. Maybe one of them may be playing in the Super Bowl some day.

Cool to see we have one and none for Texas, OU, K-State, Nebraska, Missouri among others.

$5M places him behind Venables' $7M and Sarkisian's $5.4M among the Big 12 public schools; I feel confident enough to say that Aranda and Dykes are in this range. The $5.2M for the staff should place Cincinnati comfortably in the midrange of the Big 12.

They ain't playing around when they make their entrance, which should be the case. Props for the forward thinking by them.

This really feels like an area where the majority of people on both sides of the aisle can agree. There is legislation already drawn up in the recent voting/election bills drafted by Democrats that is designed to address this. I would love to see it carved out and passed on a stand alone basis.
