In space, the LBs and safeties look scared to tackle. Not just the big RB but the whole Berryhill in space vs QB play is next level bad.

The DL was getting sucked into bad angles/out of their lanes and it left massive gaps for the QB to run through.

The corners are trailing, they aren't covering after about 10 yards down the field. I don't think they look noticeably different physically but it seems they are stiff coming out of cuts.

Not a single kid on that defense had the sense to be 'the guy' to get everyone calm and in place. Leadership is very lacking and the guys as seniors just don't seem to have the ability to embrace their opportunity to lead.

Guy sucks. Stop deleting threads.

Royals walk 8 and unsure what replay guys were looking at in the stolen base. KU just doing 2025 KU things. Simultaneous winnable games that end up on the wrong side.

Excluding the bowl game, with one of the wins over fvcking Lindenwood.

There are too many problems to name but it’s far more complex than just blaming JD6 or Grimes.

The culture sucks.

We went from a disciplined team that appeared very well coached and hungry to incredibly undisciplined and poorly coached.

Look at the bowl game itself, as fun as it was for us to watch a KU team flex a talent advantage over an opponent, the amount of penalties was completely embarrassing.

Something is deeply wrong in the program and firing some coordinators may not be enough to fix it.

Saw we are playing BYE hoping to avoid a loss this coming weekend.

Once said something to the effect of there's nothing wrong with Kansas except that they keep firing coaches.

This season has been a disaster by any definition but LL has to be allowed to run his program and everyone on the outside looking in needs to know he is supported. Regardless.

There's no other way forward. Fight through this. That's it or we are begging for things to spiral out of control again.

Have to feel for some of these seniors. Maybe even some of the guys who had opportunities to leave and chose to stay… coaching staff does not put the team in positions to win, and game management has been atrocious. Just feels like a wasted year 6 games in with no major changes.

We would be better off. Would not have these garbage coordinators screwing the season and most likely have a better recruiting class too. If we hired Kotelnicki at the time this season would 100% be going much better

What a nightmare

I was amazed at the number of times an ASU linebacker, safety, or corner timed up a blitz to be at full speed at the LOS just as we snapped the ball. I was even more amazed that we never changed up the count, much less used a hard count. If I remember right, they had the single offsides in the fourth quarter using those running starts. These things are so basic for coaches up in the box to see and make changes. Once again, the definition of insanity seems to apply to this coaching staff.

..... only getting 3 points when we got it down to the 4 yd line was the difference.(lost by 4). First and goal from the 4 is not a pass when you have Neal and Hishaw IMO. The play calling on that goal line situation was.terrible.

Again, there will be calls we always question as fans and I totally think like last week...this was a defensive loss but that sequence was critical

Hate to think the worst- but it’s 2024 football season, the most disappointing of my 50+ years of fandom so….

The replay looked suspiciously like an achilles injury. Given it looked like he put no weight on it, that would fit. Hope someone can weigh in with some good/contradictory news that shoots down this worst case scenario.

will depend on player retention and the portal. Hit a triple kn those and this program can get back and this season can be a freak accident.

I am just not sure this staff can recruit well, enough on the high school side to move the program along.
