Interesting development on Sunday...

One lone person on a Bernie volunteer Slack (anyone can just sign up) from Hong Kong uploaded a document to share with everyone that was a call script attacking Warren.

The moderator removed it, and told everyone to ignore it if they looked at it. That was that.

But somehow from with Warren's campaign they saw this and issued a statement reprimanding Bernie and his campaign for providing scripts to mudsling her.

Unbelievable.

What's worse is that she went to Politico and they committed journalistic malpractice but not vetting any sources or getting anything from the Bernie campaign really.

She also attacked him for comparing and contrasting the differences between the two, all the while from her launch she did they same; she said was a market capitalist and Bernie wasn't. Also that very day her surrogate, Julian Castro was doing the same, comparing and contrasting which is what the primary is for.

Warren is so desperate right now, she's resorted to in the weeds tactics against someone who even tried to get her to run in 2016 (Bernie ended up running instead to push things back into the Overton Window).

I can't see any scenario where she's getting the nomination as of today but if she does, Trump is going to absolutely eviscerate her.

If you read the followup tweet in that thread, you'll see Warren dropped 7 points. They're in full on panic mode. Back to back days with fabricated attacks on Bernie, they were supposed to be friends.

None of this however is anywhere remotely close to the 2008 primary between Obama and Hillary, but there's like three weeks left before Iowa still.

New Quinnipiac Poll:

Biden 25% (-5)
Sanders 19% (+3)
Warren 16% (-1)
Buttigieg 8% (-1)

National Poll, changes since Dec 19th.

I've said it with every Quinnipiac poll but it's always been very unkind to Berinie. So either it's the lone poll that is accurately polling him, or most of the rest are correct and this is the outlier which means he's even better here.

Either way, one is not like the others.

Biden's biggest worry is the calling of witness in the Senate's part of the impeachment. The center of the party wants Biden. but if jr is called to testify, it will probalbly assure Bern of getting the nomnation. Looking back if Schiff would have taken his time, and been so spiteful, the Biden family would have not been mentioned. It's been an interesting year of watching just how crappy our Congress has been acting for the last decade.

@nick77 had something beyond annoying last night happen during the national championship game and thought of you.
Guy walking around the bar in a Biden 2020 hoodie and I know how much you despise him (which is why I thought of you) being a total shithead and loud and drunk.
My boss fairly recently got back from Syria fighting mainly ISIS asked a guy if he was a veteran this shithead interrupted and said he was a veteran of call of duty, wtf?!? Then called him a jerk for being a bears fan living in Kansas even though my boss was born and raised in Chicago. I kept thinking about what you might say to him and just started laughing.
Oh yea and he said this country needs his boy Biden in office that's y we need to vote for him. I can't make this shit up!!! Night man

Hahah.

I actually don't despise Joe, I just think he'd be a terrible POTUS and it bothers me that he's in a position to win the nomination.

I have never once seen anyone wearing a Biden hat or shirt. I know many will vote for him but it is very rare to see people excited about voting for him. Generally when I see people behaving like I ignore them. Maybe it was different in my 20s but I'm over the hill.

CNN is unbelievable. We're used to stacked questions against Bernie and he always comes out on top. They asked him point blank if he ever said a woman could never win, he said no, they turned to Warren and asked her how she felt when he told her she couldn't win.

Morning Joe on MSNBC everyone called CNN out for it, you know you f'd up when MSNBC is calling your sandbagging out.

There's footage if Bernie sticking his hand out to shake with Warren and she claws her hand away.

Warren campaign should've waited a couple days right before the Iowa caucus to go dirty, everyone's going to forget about this in a week. I'm guessing she wanted to do this before the debate and get it on tv.

I'll say it again, journalistic malpractice. CNN and Warren are both desperate. Biden wins out here if the progressives split, and Warren is an opportunist and will bend to whatever shape needed for a VP spot, knowing Joe will only run for one term, she wouldn't be too old to run in 2024.

Are you surprised? This is Trump treatment. Welcome to being a deplorable because you're a populist. Careful or they'll call Bernie a white nationalist.

If you're not a part of the establishment you're a POS in their book. The establishment won't give up their power without gnashing of teeth and dirty tricks.

They can't call him a white nationalist so they're trying again and again to call him a misogynist despite his decades long documented work fighting for them.

The entire kitchen sink is being thrown but I'll take it, he's on top of the field right now.

True. Both anti-establishment individuals. Major difference is that Bernie actually gives a shit about others walking this earth whereas Trump would kill off entire populations to buy a few more gold toilets.

Do you ever stop with the ridiculous BS?! "Trump would kill of entire populations" Jeezus...
So, words matter in this conversation? It’s hard to keep up with your flip-flopping on when a statement should be taken literally or not. You’re worse than a sleazy politician. Now that we’ve settled your approach ITT, yes, you’re right, the statement was purposely outlandish in order to illustrate the point that Trump cares very little about his fellow man.

New Reuters/IPSOS national poll, this is the one that RCP has been excluding.

This is after the debate and Warren's antics.

Bernie 20 (+2)
Biden 19 (-4)
Warren 12 (-3)
Bloomberg 9 (+3)
Pete 6 (-1)

I've said it before and I'll say it again, national polls are nice to be ahead in at any point in the race but the dynamic totally changes after Iowa, then the rest of the first four, when people drop out. Then Super Tuesday.

What the Dems in New Mexico, the Dakotas, even New York state that vote later don't mean squat in January/February and will be subject to change.

This is excellent news for Bernie as Warren's attempted hit backfired (unless this is an outlier and we see multiple polls come out showing the opposite)

NH state poll
https://emersonpolling.reportablene...-holds-lead-klobuchar-surges-to-double-digits

Bernie still on top. Another post debate post Warren-gone-nuclear poll.

Klobuchar is now in double digits creeping up.

Bernie's campaign has got to be feeling great right now. I know I am, i'll say it again: he always out performs polls

I would not vote for Klobuchar if had to choose a dem because of her reputation that she is hard to work for sound like a Hilliary Clinton.

I was going to say she'll drop out after Iowa, considering it borders her state, but I bet she'll stick around for NH regardless considering it comes right after. Which is fine by me, because if anything she's taking votes from Biden/Pete/Warren

Serious question:

Why so much attention and effort to find out who is going to spend millions to lose to Trump?

It’s like trying to jack off to a pic of a fat chick. Lots of effort with no payoff.

Even if I knew 100% Trump was getting re-elected it would not all be for nothing. For you it's all about 'winning' and nothing else, sure.

But look at what happened in 2016. Bernie lost (got sandbagged, but still) the nomination but just 4 years later all this 'radical, far-left' stuff he was pushing is actually what Americans want (the ones outside of the fringe bubbles for the most part), even a majority (not plurality but a majority) of conservatives want what he was pushing.

So regardless of win or lose, there will have been multiple debates, countless news, tv, radio, social media, print media, lots of coverage perpetually from a year ago through November, and from Bernie he didn't quit after November 2016, he went straight down to West VA and other places hit the worst that would benefit from him the most regardless of what color the state was.

And you've never jerked off to a pic of a fat chick before? What's wrong with you?

It’s not what Americans want. It’s what Bernie convinces the weak-minded they want so he can amass power. He’ll die soon and who will fill that void? Who’s the next socialist hope? AOC? She won’t have the staying power representing NY. She’s at about the 12 minute mark of 15 minutes...I mean, she can’t last past 11 more years because life on planet Earth ends then...right??

Poll after poll after poll. Call it what you want if that makes you feel better.

I've read enough of your posts to know you're line of thinking is definitely in a small minority.

Besides, being a Bernie Socialist is one of the smallest minorities out there.

Just like how you pointed out that Soleimani didn't actually fight off Al-Qaeda and ISIS? In both cases I dropped the receipts and they were bullet proof.

Doesn't matter that Bernie is a Democratic Socialist running on the most popular POTUS of the 20th century and his platforms, so popular that his rivals were able to amend the constitution and term limit him.

What matters is that regardless of political party, people want healthcare guaranteed to them as a right, they don't wont the free market to kick their family off health insurance. They want fair wages and labor protections.

They enjoy capitalism as much as they enjoy socialism: they get into their automobile they bought at a fair price from the free market so they can drive upon the tax payer funded, socialist roads to the tax payer funded, socialist schools to drop their kids off, hoping there isn't a lunatic with an automatic weapon that shoots up the place, then to the store to buy all sorts of things from competing private businesses and large public corporations.

It's as simple as that. You want it to be to where it's some war of this vs that, but it's not.

You want it to be one way, but it's the other way. Deal with it.

No, just like the receipts I provided where I pointed out why your polls are shit...of which you conveniently ignore.

You need to deal with the fact that the people that want what you want are a miniscule % of the American population...you can talk a big game all you want but the majority of Americans DO NOT want healthcare guaranteed when it means a 50% increase in taxes. The majority of Americans DO NOT want free shit....because most realize who will ultimately pay for it.

Not to mention the ignorance you constantly display about what socialism even is. Just because something is paid for by the gov't doesn't make it socialism. here's a receipt on that, although I highly doubt you'll read it.

Dude, you posted more or less a blog.

People at the end of the day don't want to be kicked off insurance and die because they dont have a 401k.

You're the only person on this board that has defended insurance companies denying treatment to cancer patients.

You do not represent America.

You're laughably wrong about this like you were with Soleimani and ISIS/AQ

Seriously, how many stupid things can you stick into one post?!

First, my receipt was from Gallup...?! A blog?? A special kind of stupid...

Second, Getting kicked off insurance has jack squat to do with having a 401k...and while you're right that they don't want to lose their insurance, most also realize paying an extra 20% in taxes is not a good tradeoff.

Third, If you go look, I didn't defend insurance companies... I floated reasonable possibilities for why the ins co did what it did. I never said either was right or wrong. But I know you're not really a details kinda guy, so I'm pretty used to you ignoring such things.

Fourth, you're right I don't represent America...never said I did. But you don't represent America either. In fact, I resemble a hell of a lot more Americans than you do. If I did represent America, we'd be in a lot better financial shape I guaran-damn-tee you that. Its the likes of you that are bankrupting us.

Fifth, while you may have a minor point about Soleimani, it doesn't really mean a thing. The guy ahs killed thousands of defenseless civilians, including children and old people. He's a scumbag regardless of whether he might have had some minor help with ISIS.

Laughably wrong is you thinking you're actually making legitimate points.
