With the pieces OU has on offense, it really is hard to pin point one thing to stop them at, because they have enough weapons to do it all.

They have 7 receivers with 10 or more catches. 2 of the receivers are in the 5' 10" range and around 190 lbs, 2 more are between 5' 11" and 6' 1" and 160 lbs, another receiver is 6' 6" 240 lbs, and the last two are their top two RBs. With that group, they can attack you a number of different ways. Then there is the running game. They have the thunder in the running game with big back Perine, they have the lightning in the running game with Mixon, and if that isn't enough the QB can take off running as well (85 yards rushing in the game against Tulsa).

This is pretty scary to think about when you look at our defense. Now I do think the defense has made some strides with individual players the past few weeks, but on the season we have only held one team to under 500 yards of total offense so far and that was the first game against SDSU. The defense is going to have to get some takeways this game, or we are going to have to rely on luck. With luck, two things that could helps is that the two games OU has struggled the most were away from Norman (while also noting they didn't struggle at KSU) and you are still seeing some ups and downs with consistency with the offense as this is the first year Riley has implemented it. But I think it will be key for the KU defense to realize they are going to give up some yards, but need to make it tough for OU when they get near the redzone - turn some of those TDs into FGs similar to what we did against Tech...
