He wants to do it, not by taking tax payer dollars from others areas into Washington to be dsipersed then to whoever for whatever. He wants taxes extremely lowered for incometax on inviduals, lower business taxrs, curtailing of costly regulations-etc. He wants more money, by a large margin, to stay local. Calculations initially look to be a billion a year that stays local. The idea is sensible and capitalistic and most important, takes the added cost of the federal government out of the equation. However, extrapolate this out to other major cities and some states and voila! You have, more or less, some semblance of a fair tax and more money staying local thoughout the country. Great way to down size Washington, and put cities an states back in the controls they were always supposed ot have, but were usurped by the fed.
