I know the coaches are making good progress on improving the overall quality of the roster through recruiting, but likely one of the biggest areas that needs a real shot in the arm is player development.

For the first time in more than a couple years Kansas will go into the off-season with the same strength and conditioning staff and no limitations because of Covid. Kansas also for the first time in quite a while will have a good chunk of their roster returning with experience.

What players or player do you expect to make a huge jump in their development and will end up a key contributor this upcoming season?

I have no way of knowing if there’s any physical limitations that will keep him from gaining the necessary strength and size, but I think if there is one player that could take a huge jump from the first year in the program to next season is D’Marion Alexander. That’s my guy that I have circled that well either show up for fall practice completely changed and ready to contribute at a position of need or are we going to see very small gains that will keep him from getting on the field and show off his athleticism and ability.

What say you?
