I just had a talk with Daphney Mgbako, the mother of Mackenzie Mgbako, the 6-foot-8, 195-pound small forward from Roselle (NJ) Catholic High School. Mackenzie, the No. 8 ranked player in the 2022 class, will in fact take an official visit to Kansas this week. She wanted to make it clear that her son hasn't narrowed his list of schools and isn't sure where the visit list that was reported on Twitter this weekend came from. Daphney said they are in the process of conducting Zoom calls, taking virtual tours, and going through the entire process the second time around.
