OU fans alleging Lincoln Riley was having an affair (Rumor/Cope)

Could be total BS from a fan base looking to burn Riley anyway that they can, but rumor seems to be picking up steam within their fan base last night and this morning. Allegation is that Lincoln Riley was having an affair with Executive Recruiting Director Annie Hanson, who oddly enough is from Kansas and is married to a former K-State football player. OU fans speculating that Linc's wife found out and basically blew the whole thing up and said we're getting the F out of Oklahoma with you or without you.

This is still very much at the conspiracy level, but Lincoln and Annie were inseparable for years (normal for HC and Recruiting Director), and she apparently hasn't been seen or made a single comment since riley announced he was leaving (again, normal). She's also said to not be joining Lincoln at USC. Annie was the face of OU recruiting and is credited with a lot of their success these last 4 - 5 years. She also happens to be highly attractive, which helps feed the conspiracy LOL.

Anyway, I'm enjoying the rage and the cope coming out of Sooner fans, grasping at anything to avoid the reality that Norman Oklahoma is just a shit place to live.

If anyone wants to follow the drama, you can find plenty on Twitter and here on Rivals if you have access to other boards.

LB & DL

I honestly think those two position groups are what's potentially standing in the way of us being a 6 win team next year.

We get pushed back way too much on the DL. And our ability to pressure the QB is inconsistent at best. (We did seem to get a little better toward the end of the season at getting after the QB). Our LB issues don't need to be recapped.

My question is, can we take a huge step forward in those position groups next year?
