So many blurred lines in the current CFB landscape. How can a school take advantage of it?
Start a Junior Varsity program.
JV players can practice with varsity, but only the top 105 overall players can dress for home games.
PWO program would thrive. With NIL, maybe they don't get as much a scholarship kid, but they could get more than what a G5/JUCO could offer. Also a chance for in-state players to play the game they love with top-notch facilities and not have to sacrifice their education/college experience at a D2/D3/NAIA school.
JV games on off football nights on ESPN+ could bring in more revenue, and also put tape out there if guys don't see a future on varsity and want to transfer.
Another way to hoard talent, make a new league with the top 40 programs (needs to be 40 or else we're probably fvcked).
