Use whatever criteria you want for what surprise means and pick how many you want, but when I was thinking about this I wanted to pick just one for offense and one for defense focusing on guys that haven't gotten a lot of talk...
DEFENSE
Denzel Feaster - bold prediction: Feaster is the best LB on the team by the end of the season
OFFENSE
Quan Hampton - I know we are loaded at WR but the more I watch his stuff the more I think he will be special, a little bit shorter but think he is a quicker/faster version of Steven Sims and a better route runner at their comparative SR years of HS (noting Sims was a very solid route runner in HS)...I think they find ways to get Hampton the ball in space, possibly even as a punt returner where he could be dangerous
