We need the debt ceiling raised and we owe 17 trillion. Where in the hell is the 300mil comming from to "give", "loan", or "bailout" Detroit? What is 300 mil to a dysfunctional city that just found out they owe several billion more than thought? Are Chicago, Atlanta, L. A., Stockton, San Jose ect. sticking their hands out now? One thing about crap like this is that it affects us all-libs, cons, ind, et al. We all just sent money north. Why in the hell would anybody in their right mind want their representative to get their hands on any more money? How about starting up some of the old 30's work programs? I find it hard to believe working liberals like this any better than those of us on the other side.
