Only a week away from the first game and there are so many things I am curious to see how they unfold.

Was big fans of watching DeShaun Watson, Christian McCaffery, Leonard Fournette, and Myles Garrett last year, so going to try and watch a lot of their games when KU isn't on.

The situations at UT/TAMU/LSU will be interesting to watch. Seems like there is a lot of pressure this year for each of those teams, but each team has talent, so don't think it is a given they fail this season. But if they do, the Tom Herman watch likely begins.

Baylor is going to be really interesting to me. They have some talent, but not that deep and I think it could be a situation where both as players and a coaching staff if there is a little bit of adversity, things could completely crumble (as KU fans we know this all too well from 2009).

I'm interested to see how some of the new coaches do. I think Mendenhall has some talent to work with at Virginia - can he make it work? If Helton doesn't come out strong at USC, will people immediately begin to question that hire? A bunch others as well

I'm also curious to see how things go at Oregon this year. Helfrich is a great offensive mind, but think there are still some questions about him as HC. Things have dropped off some since Chip Kelly left - do they turn some things around or still struggle some this year?
