I had a chance to catch up with Xavier Price who visited KU recently for an unofficial visit.
"I loved my visit to Kansas," he said. "The coaching staff is great all around. They are in the lead as far as recruiting goes. Coach Beaty seems like a great coach. I love coach Likens who seems like a passionate coordinator. It would be a blessing to have coach Kubiak coach me every day."
Price said Kenny Perry was the one who started recruiting him and stays in touch with him. He said he doesn't have any other visits lined up.
KU, Boise State, Arizona, Air Force and Wyoming are recruiting the hardest.
