News and Notes Updates from Beaty OU post-game

• Beaty liked the fight until the end. The defense got a TO and the kids kept playing hard
• They have to get better in all phases not just picking one out
• Beaty said one of few bright spots was kicking game and mentioned Wyman
• Beaty said they have been struggling at corner on deep balls on how OU attacked them there
• Beaty was encouraged they got some pressure but they have to be able to get the QB down
• After scoring KU had OU in 2nd and 32 but didn't get off the field.
• Beaty said Willis slid early on a first down but came up 6" short and he said there is no excuse you have to get that first down
• Said they have to get off the field on defense
• Beaty said Tyler Patrick was pumped after his TD catch. Said when he got to sideline he was so jacked up he thought he was going to pass out.
• Beaty said OU is a good defense but he thought they could score a little bit more.
• Beaty said six freshmen played on offense but they will never, ever use that as an excuse
• Defensively said on defense they have had a lot of "what-ifs"
• The OT had to match up against a good OU front four but thought the young guys played well. But needs to look at tape later on
