The BOR made an appropriate hire whom will do well- yet brings controversy, large numbers were in Neeli favor amongst popular voices. Doug is a great selection- will do fantastic job. Many situations we get caught in particular name we pull for that person w/out knowing all details, had the pleasure to know past KU employees - Rich Lariviere & Stu Bell individuals who might go unrecognized to many. Rich left and was president of Oregon [relieved of duty in controversial situation], Stu left KU now prez at Alabama. Good people exist althoughtheir names are not popular, most knew Neeli but less knew of Doug. When Rich/Stu left us they were unknown to most Kansans, there are capable people all over need to have their chance, this is a good time to come together and unite b/c we have a great leader coming. BTW he loves football
