What is the toughest loss you took as someone who followed KU football? I know there are several over time. A few come to mind.....

1994- Kansas State.... I think that was the first game I realized what Snyder was building. They had speed and strength. They were quicker than KU and had more skill at the right time. I remember being surprised thinking the two programs were even. That was the year they started to distance themselves ahead of KU head to head.

2000- SMU.... Was a year where KU had some talent and going into the season people were expecting big things. Looked slow and out of shape and a bad loss to a not very good SMU team.

2008- Texas Tech.... KU was off the Orange Bowl year and still had good things going in 2008. They were 5-2 and hosted Texas Tech in what was supposed to be a good contest. Game started off good trading scores. Then Tech scored the next 40-something points and it turned into a blow out. I remember the stands had about 5,000 left in the 4th quarter. Was hard game to watch from a KU angle because the program had done so many good things over that two year span.
