Spare me the "Product not worth supporting" stuff
I have always been against calling out students but it seems it is a problem this year, especially. The student section has decreased in size since i was in school, used to have the entire section up behind KU bench. I have noticed at games that the student section does not entirely fill up and there are deals on GA tickets repeatedly for games. Most notably we didn't even fill up the student section and it was not packed to the brim for the Iowa State game (that was shocking).
I think Bill was right to call out the students a bit in his press conference a while back.
I remember for big games (non-con) and conference games, if you didnt camp... you were going to be sitting near the top of the student section. I also remember student allotment maxing out as well for big games and conference games. You had to be diligent about registering for your tickets.
I've noticed from the KU Student camping X account that camping groups have been very few.
What gives? I know the team is a bit of a disappointment but what is going on with Student Support? It seems to be an issue.
