From 2000-2018, Self only had 1 double digit loss season.

10 losses in 2014 with FR Wiggins, Selden, Embiid, SO Ellis and JR starting PG Tharpe where we ended the season 3-4 and Embiid broke his back.

We currently have 28 losses in the last 3 seasons with a minimum of 7 games left.

We already have 20 losses in the last 2 years.

Unless we win the Big 12 Championship and National Championship, we will have at least 30 losses over the last 3 years.

Let's assume we won't win either of those tournaments. So chalk up a min of 2 losses.

If we lose 4 of our last 5 regular season games, we will have 40 losses in the last 4 years, which includes our 34-6 National Championship team.

If we lose all 5 of our remaining games, we will have 50 losses in the last 5 years.

That would be from 2021-2025.
2020 was obviously a big year for us that got cut short.
2019 was Self's second 10-loss season since 2000.

Take out the incomplete 2020 year (which is not fair to do), we are looking at a possible 5-year average of 10 losses per year when Self has only had one 10 loss team in his previous 19 years.
