I know that quite a few prospects still remain on the 2023 Hot Board, but I think some prospects have clearly separated themselves from the pack. Obviously, Kansas is in great position with Dennis Evans and Mikey Williams. Williams, the No. 19 ranked player in the 2023 class, has already taken an official visit to Kansas. Evans, the No. 11 ranked player in the 2023 class, is scheduled to visit Kansas the weekend of Late Night In The Phog.
Kaden Cooper, the No. 36 ranked player in the 2023 class, has said he would like to visit Kansas, but I'm not sure I see that happening. I know that he is very high on Gonzaga and I've been told the Zags are the team to beat.
The staff, without question, loves TJ Power, the No. 60 ranked player in the 2023 class, but as of late last week, no additional visits had been set. Duke, Iowa, UNC, Virginia, and Notre Dame have already received a visit from the talented PF.
As I've said in the past, I expect the staff to hit the transfer portal as well. I think, moving forward, that's going to be a thing.
