While the staff has been focused on trying to round out the 2023 class and work the transfer portal, they have put together a good group of 2024/25 prospects who will visit for the Indiana game.
Williams Nwaneri told me he will be there. He did everything this year and can go to just about any school he wants. He was first team all state and Co-Defensive Player of the year in Missouri.
There will be two quarterbacks in the house from the 2024 class on Saturday. Daniel Kaelin from Bellevue West (Neb) and Isaiah Marshall Southfield A&T (Mich) both hold offers from KU and have been to Lawrence for other visits.
Red Martel who is committed to KU will be in attendance.
Caleb Redd is expected to be at the event. I didn't get a later confirmation but the last word I got he is planning to attend.
A couple prospects from Iowa will make the trip in Kyle Rakers and Carson Bruhn. Rakers is an offensive lineman from Dowling Catholic and Bruhn is a tight end from Sioux Center. Rakers has offers from Iowa State, KU, KSU, and Nebraska. Bruhn has offers from KU, KSU, and Missouri.
There will be some of the top prospects in Kansas on hand. Michael Boganowski from Junction City will be there along with Kaedin Massey (OL from Lyndon) and JB Price (RB from Blue Valley).
Also from Kansas are two prospects the staff is trying to get as PWO in the 2023 class Mikey Bergeron (Mill Valley) and Isaiah Coppage (Bishop Miege).
Making the trip from Wisconsin they are expecting Miles Sillas a LB from Hortonville, (Wisc) to be in for a visit. He has offers from KU, Iowa and Nebraska.
Two of the best 2025 recruits in the KC area are on the list. Jayden Woods (DE-Mill Valley) and Isaiah Mozee (WR/ATH- Lee's Summit North).
