Ford hit Sternberger on a nice TD pass over the middle.
Cozart threw a fade route, not a bad throw at all, and Tyrone Miller went up and picked it at highest point. It was a great play.

Got to watch all of practice. They did a lot of mixing around. I thought Sternberger looked good. I liked Bragg working at guard.
I really like the upside of Tyrone Miller. But today I saw Josh Stanford get after him a few times in one on one coverage. Kent Taylor got a nice deep ball.
Dang there is a lot of energy at practice. It has been fun to watch these guys.
I can see where the distance between Cozart and Ford might not be as much as we all thought. They are very similar. With the live action I liked what I saw with Ford. Cozart looked fairly sharp. But their games are similar. I just think Cozart is ahead because he's been in the system.
I can see how the coaches may want to give as much time to determine the starter. There is 100% chance it is between those two. Willis and Stanley are clearly down from there based off reps. I still stick to my story that Cozart will be the starter.
Shelley-Smith and Mazyck were limited. Ben Johnson didn't do much physical contact. Now remember at this time of year with all the contact I think several players are getting a rest. Marcquis Roberts didn't do much. Don't read much into that.
