Maybe I'm old but in the simplest of terms this is progress because I took 3 14 year-olds to the game and they had a blast. One of whom lives 30 minutes away and will be a D1 athlete and has never been to a game. My son vaguely remembers the TR years so he's experienced some good times but knows the current run as the norm. Needless to say they yelled, cheered, were perplexed and pissed at the outcome. Most importantly they want to go back on the 22nd. To me that's progress.

A few weeks ago posters called for improvement in sustained drives, assignment soundness, defensive stops, better tackling, more points Ect Ect. Is it perfect.... no but you have to see progress in the fact that we are talking the finer points in why we lost vs why we got blown out or weren't competitive. Today feels like early Mangino years. Tantalizingly close to something fun. Cheers
