I feel like at some point we could see Portal V 2.0 with KU. I look at last week like V 1.0 where they offered several players and went through round one.

I don't know if it will be as fast and furious but there is still a lot of work to do. And some of that work load could lighten if recent visitors committed. If a handful of players commit who recently took official visit then the whole picture changes. If not, we move into this week looking at a new round.

One player I like a lot is Tyler Mercer from North Texas. He has offers from KU, North Carolina, Mississippi State, Arizona State, Arkansas, Miami, Stanford, and Houston. He completed his visit over the weekend and I had a chance to get some thoughts.

"The visit went amazing," he said. "I really like the coaching staff and the players I got to meet and hangout with. The new facilities are very impressive too and overall very impressed with the coaching staff and culture of the team."

Mercer didn't say what comes next but he has options.

Jack Tanner is done with visits and I expect him to decide soon. The Tulsa OL could be down to KU and KSU with Northwestern still in the mix.

A corner I would take in a heartbeat is Jordan Young from Cincinnati. He's a two-year starter after transferring from Florida. He's currently on campus. He has been very quiet with information.

Everett Roussaw LB from UAB is supposed to finish his official visit to KU today and then told me he plans to visit Memphis on the 19th. One I am definitely watching because I have to think if Chris Simpson wants him he will put a squeeze on him or do what he can.

Temple OL Melvin Siani just told me he will be on campus on Wednesday. He was on a visit to Oklahoma State over the weekend.

There could be a group of WR who make the trip to Lawrence this week including:
Dean Patterson- FIU
Levi Wentz- Albany
Bryson Canty- Columbia
Jeff Caldwell- Lindenwood

I'm still waiting to hear from LB Antarron Turner from Western Carolina. He said he was setting a date but have yet to hear back.

Bryan McCoy told me he was going to visit this week but he committed to Oklahoma State last night.

This is some info I worked on this morning and will come back with any new developments.
