Been looking at data specifically focused on D voters views on impeachment in those two areas. To summarize in a few words - very tired of what is perceived as an endless process. No love for Trump but frustration at what is perceived by solid majorities as near obsession of their House D members with impeachment. A majority believe Trump will win in 2020. Interesting data that should be food for thought as to choice of D candidate for POTUS. Fatalism about the winner combined with lack of enthusiasm for leadership is not a recipe for success. Solid majorities want focus on issues such as health care and income growth, not impeachment. These majorities know that the Senate will not convict and believe the House is setting Trump up for a big win. Don’t kill the messenger.
