what does everyone think of this executive order to suspend payroll taxes? I have read that unless eliminated come tax season, these will have to be paid unless it becomes permanent. Not sure which is true in that yet.

Second question is for the older people on the board. What do you think of Trump possibly ended Social Security and Medicare with this EO? People state that SS trust will run out of funds by 2029, then payouts will be reduced by at least 31%. I understand many have safe guarded against a SS failout with personal 401k, IRA, Roth's, and in come cases company pensions ( which are exceedingly rare these days). But are there any on here that worry about losing SS funds in retirement years if they were not able to save enough in other personal accounts?

I will be 42 in a few weeks time, both my wife and I have concluded well before this even, if we get any SS money when we retire, it would be amazing.
