He was here in Emporia tonight but not suited up. He was throwing the ball around in warm ups with no noticeable injury. We went into a weather delay and I overheard a couple guys with kids on the team talking. Apparently the word is Missouri paid him to not play this year and just focus on getting in better shape. Didn’t look like he had an ounce of bad weight on him. These were Emporia parents talking to Coffeyville parents around the concession stand.
