Let's talk old Tiger Stadium, formerly Briggs.
A few players hit balls over the right field roof -- notibly Mantle, Williams, Cash -- all left handed batters.
But I have no information if any players had cleared the left field roof, which would likely be right handed batters.
Had the left field roof been cleared by a hitter and by whom?
Also, how many times did a batter reach the upper deck in straight away center field?
Mantle supposibly had hit a ball over the roof which cleared a street and landed into a lumber yard. Anyone who can vouch for that?
