Everyone is predicting PJ Haggerty to go to NC State, and he's publicly requested at least $4m in NIL. That sort of leaves Kansas as the last option for Darrion Williams if he pulls out of the draft, no? Schools I read were NC State, BYU, Ohio State, and KU for Williams. BYU seems to have been signing other guys, and NC State seems to be committing a lot of money too, and I would imagine KU has a leg up over OSU in terms of attractiveness. Seems like, in the case that Williams drops out after the combine (he is projected as a 2nd round pick and doesn't have the kind of measurables to jump up boards IMO), it's almost a lock for Kansas. Is this too optimistic?
