Signing day is a different experience in the internet age. I remember in college and in the early to mid 90's it wasn't signing day that was the big day. It was the day after, because that's when USA Today would list all the signees and I could see who we and everyone else got and study the names. In the summer I would write the KU athletic department and ask for them to send me a media guide so I could memorize the roster and the player bios.
It's hard to believe how much more patience we had to have about literally everything then.
