Went back and watched their game against UCF. I thought this would be a game they would lose. UCF is talented and was playing at home. When they played UCF was 3-0 and CU was 3-1.

- They did give Sanders some trouble with the blitzing. The issue when you blitz Colorado is they always seem to have a WR on a short crossing route. That has to be defended because when Sanders sees pressure he goes there. They got UCF in a few situations but then the UCF safeties started reacting better and stopped them short a couple times.

- I can't tell you how many times Sanders just floats it in the air and Hunter makes plays. I have to believe Cobee and Mello can defend that pass. Some of those throws are close to getting picked.

- This will be the secondary's biggest test and it won't be close. Colorado is fast all over the field at receiver. That is a major concern. There isn't just Hunter they 3-4 other guys who are really good in the open field.

- Colorado won the game but UCF moved the ball. They had 450 yards offense and KJ Jefferson threw for 285. CU sold out to stop the UCF run game. Jefferson is not a great thrower and he had some success.

- I think there are yards to be had on CU's defense but you have to be smart. They are very aggressive. Their DE are like they are shot out of a cannon, but to me, they get out of their lanes a lot. The LB will bite on play-action often. They want to make plays but I think they can get out of position.

- Against UCF they had 13 TFL and 5 sacks, but they sellout. With all the eye-candy and different things KU does on offense I think they can get CU out of position.

- I thought the BYU game would be high scoring but not as high as many predicted. I don't see any way the winner of this game is at least in the 30's or higher. If it isn't that means there are a lot of turnovers.

- UCF played a lot of cover two, but CU found their way into the open areas a lot. I think KU will have to do some version of zone. There is no way KU can cover the CU WR playing man. No way, no how. These CU WR will run fly past and around the KU DB's.
