This team is very mediocre offensively. No consistent outside shooting and our post players don't post up and when they occasionally get position our guards can't feed the post.
The really concerning thing tonight was the defense. Zero on the ball pressure. This is maybe Self's least athletic team on defense.
The thing that really worries me is that Self felt it necessary to send messages to Alexander and Traylor in the second half. Greene is a non factor. Lucas had no business in that game, he is too slow footed to play against a team like Iowa state.
We just don't look like a team that wants it more than the other guys. There is no fire on this team and it is going to cost us.
Who is the leader? When things have gone bad this year, there is not a guy who is capable of being the vocal, in your face leader?
We only have 3 losses but this team does not look like a team that wins the conference.
