In my many decades as a KU basketball fan, (I shook hands with Walt Wesley at the age of 16), I have lived through some awful seasons, but I have never had to reconcile a fact scenario as difficult as 1) K-State is in the elite 8 thanks to their 5'8" point guard and 2) the most exciting thing about KU basketball at the moment is who is leaving the program through the transfer portal . Scream! I feel better, thanks.
