I'm not a huge golf guy but will watch the big tournaments or if a big name is at the top.
Few weeks ago I saw Mickelson was leaving for another league. Then I saw Dustin Johnson. There were a few other names.
Then I read they offered Tiger Woods well into nine figures to join and he turned it down.
When I'm watching ESPN I will see news scrolling at the bottom saying "a player resigns from the PGA to join..."
This morning Yahoo Sports had a story saying Reed and DeChambeau are expected to leave and join it.
What league is out there players would leave the PGA tour for? And why do they have to "resign" from the PGA? Can't they just play whatever league they want or is it one or the other?
