So I took a job late last year that came with a company car....
I was driving a 2013 F150 supercrew with a 6.5 foot bed. A long summabitch.
My wife is driving a 2010 Ford Escape.
We've finally come to the conclusion its beyond stupid to hang onto both cars given that I have a company car now. No need to pay property tax and insurance on something that barely gets driven.
Anyway, I couldn't convince my wife to drive the F150 full time... bummer. She doesn't want to haul around our 10 month old and have to deal with a tonneau cover and what not... and have to deal with parking the beast.
We have been researching mini... I mean 3rd row SUVs. I have narrowed it down to a Chevy Traverse, Buick Enclave, Honda Pilot or Volkswagen Atlas. Do any of you have any advice at all? Should I steer in another direction? We like the Traverse and Enclave because it has the most cargo room. We will be taking many road trips to my hometown in Dallas so cargo room is a necessity with 2 dogs and a baby with the potential of another child in a few years.
Would appreciate anyone's insight.
