- 3 kids in the top 101
- 5 kids in the Top 250
- 6 kids with a 4 star rating
- 18 kids with at least a 3 star rating
- 12 kids currently committed to FBS programs and (11 of them P5)
And the season doesn't start for another few months. Some of these kids will drop but could (should) be other kids emerge with a strong senior season.
Have we ever seen a class this loaded before in the history of the state? Yes we've had 5 star kids including the #1 recruit in the nation (Bryce Brown) but I can't think of a class with this much quality talent.
Classes that come to mind in the Rivals era are 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2016. The 2004 class had a ton of "what if" players (Nick Patton, Matt Boss, Kenny Wilson, Havekamp, Haselhorst, etc.) as well. But have we seen a class this loaded before?
