Every men’s blue blood program has a women’s equivalent that is projected to be a top seed in the NCAA tournament:

Why is our women’s program so far away? As we all know it’s one thing to make the tournament, but it’s an entirely different thing being a top 4 seed. Is the problem coaching, or fan support, is it hard to get recruits to come here? I don’t know if I buy anything to do with NIL because this issue pre-dates NIL by many, many years.

I have to think that if we had a solid women’s program, our fans would be some of the best in the country.
