We have known for years that Putin wants unite all lands that used to be mother Russia. Dues for NATO members is about 2% GDP. The United States picks up the rest of the tab. This arrangement seems logical except at times of war. The United States, with it's ever increasing debt can not afford to continue down this path. IMO opinion the United States should restructure the dues of all NATO members. The world cannot withstand the demise of the dollar/broke United States. We go in debt and European countries laugh behind of backs while we finance their security.
