A little background before the crazies come out of the woodwork and want to pounce. And this might get wordy but stick around.
I watched every KU basketball game from the mid 80s to the to the late 2010s. I camped out in the early 90s and was there when Turgeon was coaching the JV team when that was still a thing, watched some transfer named Rex Walters come out after the JV game and before the “real” game to drain 3s for a workout during his year to sit out after transferring from Northwestern.
I was in attendance for every football home game from 91-95 - except one. To this day I can’t believe I didn’t go to the Tony Sands game against Mizzou in which he ran for 398.
I’ve been a fan of KU sports for a long time. I love KU football and if you’ve been to the football site you’ve probably seen me post a time or two or even liked one of your posts.
Honestly, I soured on basketball with the one-and-dones. I’m sorry, Joel Embiid is not a Jayhawk. He was here for 8 months and went on his way.
My point- the football side of this forum is so much more entertaining and insightful than the basketball side. For christs sake the first four games are on and there are no posts! On the football side we have a 2- page thread about a Wednesday night MACtion game between Ball State and Western Michigan.
I understand this is a “recruiting “ website. But geesh. @JK posts a prediction thread for KU vs Lindenwood and there’s 3 pages of predictions. The KU vs Arkansas prediction thread has yet to go to 2 pages.
