Anyone know the dates for select a seat for football season tickets?

Damn that sucks having to wait 5-6 more weeks. Yep I’m being impatient ha

Our rep said the tentative date is June 9th, but not set in stone. As you are probably aware, it runs over several days, depending on your pecking (picking) order.

My guess is waiting on basketball seat renewals to know total donations from the PSD model for people who buy season tickets for both.
There is a chart that tells you how much each seat costs (ticket + donation). You can make your contribution to the Williams Fund and designate a certain amount for football and a certain amount for basketball. If your tickets + donation cost more than anticipated, you just give them the additional funds. If less, you’ve given a little extra to the University. There is no need to wait for them to open up basketball renewals. The only thing holding up the basketball tickets is they are trying to determine how many season ticket holders will be renewing their tickets and if for the same quantity as last year. They anticipate a decrease in total season tickets compared to last year.

I’m just saying they are probably waiting for the basketball seat renewal process to be over to get total amounts on donations in before setting select a seat appointments for football.

Should let them apply points to one or the other how they see fit instead of letting em double up

In the new system, they can't know where to slot you into current year donation level and lifetime points (in other words, Select-a-Seat order) until basketball seats have been ordered.

And that deadline for ordering is May 23.

This. The base donation for both football and basketball applies to your priority in football.

Bump. Now that we are half way through May, I’d figured they’d announce something to allow people to plan. ..

"Purchasing a tier does not guarantee you will be able to select seats within that tier. Seat selection will take place during the Select-A-Seat process in late May/early June. If you purchase tickets within a tier, and end up selecting seats in a lesser tier, the ticket cost will be refunded, but the donation cost will not be refunded. If you purchase a lesser tier, and end up selecting seats in a higher-priced tier, you will be required to pay both the additional donation amount and ticket cost. The deadline to purchase to be included in Select-A-Seat is April 25. You will not be able to downgrade your tier after this deadline."

Thanks for posting. I mis remembered. I thought both donation and ticket monies were non refundable for lower tier tickets.

They are going to have it every Tuesday before each game, that way people can get a real feel for different parts of the new stadium each week. It should be a lot of fun getting to pick seats seven different times in one season.

I'm new to this. How does it work, and should I donate a little more than what I did with PSD to make sure I'm in the new construction this year?

Depends how much you've donated before, how much you donated this year for the PSD, and where you want to end up. There is no binary answer to your question, unfortunately.

So the key thing to remember is your Williams Fund level matters first and foremost. So not knowing where your PSD puts you donation wise, you gotta figure that out first. But just making numbers up, let's say it puts you at $2000 so Rock Chalk Level. If you can pledge another $500 to get to MVP level, you'll be selecting before every membership level below MVP and then based on your ranking within MVP, you might be ahead of a few people there. So if you want to jump a lot of people (can jump hundreds at the lower membership levels), move up to the next membership level. If you want to just jump a couple people, give an extra $100 and stay at your same membership level lol.

It’s cute that people think they are going to get their pick of good seats at the MVP level.

Define "good."

I just want to be on the west side. somewhere between the goal lines, preferably not a sherpa's walk up the upper deck. Do my hopes define as "good?" Or is it lower level between the 30s?

For context, I've been at about the 20 on the west side, 25 rows up, on the aisle, for about 15 years solid now. I always felt like I had pretty good seats there.

I'm MVP level with 1,321 people ahead of me. Hoping this keeps me West side, Upper deck between the 20s. We'll see.

You should be fine, depending on how many tickets you want grouped together, two, piece of cake, more than 4, might have more of a problem.

I’m hoping to just be in the new construction. Don’t really care where. My level isn’t high as I really didn’t know the process. Just wanted to get my foot in the door this year.

I don’t know. Always been a west side guy but the more I think about it, the more I like the East side for this year. Can get some damn good seats and get to look at the new west side all game. Not like I can’t walk over and partake in the new amenities.

Can you? I’m wondering how they’d do that.

It has to connect at the lowest level, right? Even if they fence part of it off and call that “in the stadium”. No way they isolate the east side without being able to access the new portion at all.
