The loss of Dok was devastating to this year's team, and that cost KU many, many wins.
I don't feel like the media portrays the situation that way.
Instead, the media wants to act like KU flubbed their chances and was not a great team.
In reality, KSU -- or whoever -- needed a break to overtake KU in the conference standings and they got it.
They didn't "win" the conference.
