What I like about Clayton Tune......

(1) He stands tall in the pocket. Cool. Calm. Collected. No frantic foot work.

(2) He throws long with ease. Not like many QB's who have to "crank it up" by taking that extra hitch in their load to release, and a hop in their step to obtain the needed drive to get the ball downfield. Tune, instead, just releases like he was playing a "soft catch" with a baseball. No extra movement in his release. Just like he's tossing a ball to Junior on the lawn. Smooth and with little effort. So what's the big deal about that? Well, KU should be able to extend the defense to open up all kinds of stuff with him at QB. Throwing long with Tune should be easily done. The short stuff should open up. Hence, the old Texas-Tech-passing-stats here we come !
